Dr. Nichols also is a Fellow of both the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and the College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine.

Dr. Nichols and his wife, Mariann, moved to Grapevine from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, more than 30 years ago. They worked round-the-clock to accommodate his growing practice, frequently coming in after office hours to set a fracture or tend an infected toenail. They immersed themselves in the community to contribute to its growth.

Dr. Nichols has two successful, grown children and four grandchildren. They remain active fundraisers for nonprofits in Northeast Tarrant County, Texas.
